About
Most workplace training is written by people who have never worked a shift. That is the gap this exists to close.
I have spent my career designing how adults learn. Most recently I directed professional learning at Arizona State University's Mary Lou Fulton College, building programs for educators and organisations. Before that I worked in program development, strategy and partnerships across higher education, K–12 systems and nonprofits.
I also run customer-facing businesses in this market — boarding, car-sharing and resale. That means I am not describing your problem from the outside. I have stood in it: the shift that goes wrong, the review that stings, the good employee who needs one skill they were never taught.
NextReady Studio is where those two halves meet. Real instructional design, built for people who cannot lose a week to a seminar.
Plainly. I will tell you what ninety minutes can and cannot do. I will not send you a proposal padded with numbers I made up. If the price or the timing is a problem, tell me and we will find a way — I would rather make it work for your business than win an argument about a rate.
GMW Group is my consulting practice, working with education and mission-driven organisations on program design and strategy. NextReady Studio is the workplace-training side of it, built for small and midsize businesses.
I also run Thrive Vibes — Arizona pet-friendly trip guides, adventure-ready rentals with the gear included, and one-family dog boarding here in Laveen. It is a consumer brand with a completely different audience, and it is also the reason I can say what I say on this site. I am on the other side of the counter every week: taking the booking, answering the message at nine at night, handling the guest whose plan just changed. The workshops are built from that, not from a textbook.
If you run a patio, taproom, shop or hotel that welcomes dogs, Thrive Vibes is where I write about places like yours — verified on the ground, rated on shade, water and welcome.
